| The FP Green Model WRX & STi turbocharger is a direct fit flange compatible upgrade turbocharger that delivers 400-450whp capability with astounding spool up response and efficiency. The FP Green features a 49lb minute compressor and huge TDO6H sized turbine wheel with FP's own brand new 2007 updated aero 11 blade turbine head that is unlike anything else available. The Green is water and oil cooled and includes the water and oil drain lines already bolted in place. |

The FP Green's 7cm ported exhaust housing retains the stock Subaru WRX & STi flange patterns. An internal wastegate is standard on the FP Green with an adjustable 15psi high pressure actuator and is capable of filling the Subaru EJ motor with over 30 psi of boost if called upon. FP has added a larger 34mm wastegate flapper valve port job to all Green Turbos. This larger flapper valve setup increases the Green's wastegate flow volume and allows boost to be set below 20psi dependably over the entire RPM range. |
| The FPGreen Turbocharger features a 2.4" compressor housing inlet by default or an optional 3" cover can be selected for those running the large 3" air inlet tubes such as the Perrin inlet hose to reduce pressure drop in the intake path of the turbocharger. Selecting the 3" inlet FP Green and running a 3" air inlet tube will reduce lag and increase whp by reducing the PR the compressor section must operate at to achieve a given boost pressure. The corresponding reduction in turbine back pressure is the key to this improvement. Please note that a 3" inlet requires removal of the tumble generator valve assemblies for proper fitment. |
| Like all Forced Performance Mitsubishi Race Turbos, the FP Green is fitted with the best quality thrust bearings made today. FP's upgraded steel bearings have over twice the surface area as a stock thrust bearing and are matched with oversize thrust collars for the most bullet resistant bearing stackup possible. Additionally all Forced Performance journal bearings are hand picked for size and coated with a unique antifriction coating for long life. You must purchase an oil feed line with the FP Green, and it differs between the 02-07 WRX & 04-07 STi; choose accordingly. |
| The term "Green Model" or "Green turbo" are trademark protected terms used to describe this specific combination of turbocharger components which includes FP's proprietary Heavy Duty thrust bearing system. Forced Performance designed, developed and manufactured this unique combination of parts. Forced Performance Inc. is the sole source for the "Green Model" turbocharger. Nothing beats the original. |
SPOOL & PERFORMANCE: On a 2.5L car, the FP Green turbo will start making power in the mid 3k RPM range, pulling all the way to redline with the right supporting modifications. The FP Green has been proven to provide around 350whp at 21psi with tuning and supporting modifications on an STi - and is capable of much more with higher boost, engine internals, etc.
NOTES:
1. This turbo requires supporting mods, which include engine management, fuel injectors, etc. If you have questions call us, you cannot bolt these onto a stock car and go.
2. This turbo will be laggy on a 2.0L car.
3. This turbo includes coolant lines, but it requires the purchase of an oil feed line.
4. All turbos must be primed before initial use; this means running the engine w/ the ignition disconnected to get oil to the center cartridge, and should be broken in on regular (non-synthenic) oil.
5. There are several options available, but they will add considerably to the lead time of this turbo.
6. The oil line needed for this turbo is dependant on what heads you have on your motor. WRX heads with an STi block still require the WRX oil feed line.
