The Cusco WRX & STi heatshield is designed to bolt on top of your factory turbo (or most factory location VF & 16G/18G/20G Mitsubishi turbos) and shield the top-mount intercooler and engine bay from radiant heat. The Cusco WRX & STi heatshield is a great way to protect against heatsoak, and is available as a heatshield only (667045A), or with a Cusco blue throttlebody coupler (667045B). Most aftermarket downpipes require cutting or removing the stock heatshield, exposing your intercooler to radiant heat; the Cusco heat shield will clear an aftermarket downpipe and shield the intercooler.

Most aftermarket downpipes require cutting or removing the stock heatshield, exposing the intercooler to radiant heat. The Cobb heatshield will bolt on in minutes, allowing additional downpipe clearance while protecting your intercooler from heat soak and adding some shine to your WRX or STi's engine bay.
