The Turbo XS Front Mount Intercooler for the 02-07 WRX and 04-07 STi features a massive bar and plate core for optimal performance and minimal pressure drop. The 02-07 WRX and 04-07 STi FMIC from Turbo XS includes an integrated aluminum bumper support that replaces the stock bumper beam. Turbo XS includes all of the silicone connectors and piping necessary for a plug-and-play install; it even includes a Turbo XS Type H-RBV recirculating blow off valve. This is a great kit for turbo upgrades and increased boost on a WRX or STi; the massive intercooler core will support even the largest of turbo upgrades, while t-bolt clamps and silicon connectors ensure leak-free piping connections. The Turbo XS FMIC also allows WRX owners to retain their stock fog lights with some bracket modification. |

When massive flow and cooling is needed, the Turbo XS Front Mount Intercooler for the 2008-2009 Subaru WRX & STi delivers. Dwarfing the tiny factory intercooler core volume by more than 3.3 times, the TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler bar and plate core is larger AND less restrictive at high flow rates resulting in better cooling performance. | | A cooler intake charge means more power and less chance of detonation or pre-ignition when running higher than factory boost levels. Considering a turbo upgrade? The Turbo XS intercooler will be able to handle the largest of turbo upgrades and is the only intercooler currently available that will fit with both WRX-style and STi-style turbocharger configurations, giving you literally dozens of upgrade options for your WRX or STi. The TurboXS FMIC kit includes everything to seamlessly bolt up the massive 26" x 9.5" x 3.5" bar & plate style core and includes mirror polished piping and silicone couplers for leak-free plumbing. While this is an all-inclusive kit, a TurboXS or similar cold air intake is required for installation, as the stock airbox will not fit. If you have an 08-09 WRX a stock bypass valve flange is integrated into the piping so you will not need to purchase an aftermarket valve, however if you are installing this on an 08-09 STi, the bypass valve adapter kit (available separately below) is required. |
