Borla "Hush" Twin-Tip Catback Exhaust:
The Borla Hush catback exhaust for the WRX & STi features 3" piping with a resonator and quiet twin-tip muffler. This is an exceptionally quiet exhaust for the WRX & STi. The section of the catback that bolts to the downpipe is slip-fit, and can be replaced with the 3" adapter for future upgradability. The downpipe section Borla includes will bolt perfectly to your stock downpipe, but the optional 3" adapter simply bolts on and removes the bottle neck if you plan to use a 3" downpipe. Backed by Borla's million mile warranty, and constructed of stainless steel -- this is an excellent choice for your WRX or STi.

Borla XR-1 Single-Tip Catback Exhaust:
Borla's XR-1 WRX & STi catback exhaust features 3" piping with Borla's patented XR-1 multi-core muffer for optimal flow. This system does not use a resonator like the Hush, so it has a deep, powerful tone. The section of the catback that bolts to the downpipe is slip-fit, and can be replaced with the 3" adapter for future upgradability.The downpipe section Borla includes will bolt perfectly to your stock downpipe, but the optional 3" adapter simply bolts on and removes the bottle neck if you plan to use a 3" downpipe. Borla Agressive 2.5" Catback Exhaust:
Borla's "Aggressive" catback exhaust for the WRX & STi features 2.5" diameter piping, no resonators, and a straight through muffler for improved performance and sound for mildly modified & stock cars. This exhaust is designed to mate perfectly to a stock downpipe, and, unlike the Hush and XR-1, cannot be upgraded with the 3" adapter so keep this in mind; if you're planning on changing out the stock downpipe for a full 3" piece, it will be difficult to mate this exhaust to it. This system is designed for the end-user that wants some more sound and power but isn't planning on heavily modifying their WRX or STi. This system is stainless steel and backed by Borla's million-mile warranty.

This 3" adapter is designed for the XR-1 & Hush catback exhausts which have a slip-on downpipe connector. The 3" adapter simply slips into place and clamps down to replace the taper in these catbacks and convert them to full 3" exhausts.
