These are fittings for installing gauges into your 02-07 WRX or 04-07 STi. It is important to monitor your engine especially when modified. These fittings are a convenient way of installing temperature and pressure sensors so you can keep an eye on your Subaru.

Subaru Oil Galley Plug w/ 1/8PT Threads:
This is a genuine Subaru part that installs in place of the stock WRX & STi oil galley plug, located on the top of the engine block, beneath the top-mount intercooler. This port is plugged from the factory, but runs right into an oil passageway, making it an excellent spot to hook up an oil pressure or oil temp gauge (or both if you purchase a tee fitting from your local hardware store). Sure beats using an oil filter 'sandwich' adapter! |
