| All Seibon products are made using one-piece carbon sheet, so you do not see broken lines and patterns. These carbon fiber products use clear coat finish. Clear coats are shiny and durable, and they give you the nice " wet" look as opposed to a duller look from gel coats. All Seibon carbon sheets are built into the mold, so they do not break and split like the ones where carbon is only wrapped around the skeleton. |
| The "carbon fiber" material is just a piece of cloth. You can't make any shape out of it without some kind of support. Seibon uses fiberglass backing to construct the skeleton. Seibon carbon fiber hoods are not 100% carbon fiber. Seibon has a 6-month limited clear coat warranty, and they guarantee fitment for all US-modeled vehicles, unless they specifically indicate otherwise. Seibon test fits all parts before they make them available for sale. But customers need to understand that no after-market body parts will fit exactly like OEM. It is normal and you are expected to do minor adjustments for a good fit. With the information above understood Seibon is very confident that their products are among the best fitment in the aero-styling market. Their warranty extends only to vehicles that have not had any bodywork done. As a precaution, test fit all parts before you cut/paint/drill the items. |
All carbon fiber parts are examined and double-packed before shipping. However, due to the sizes of most items, handling can be awkward, and sometimes trucking staffs do not handle items carefully. We must count on the consignee to examine the product's condition upon receipt. If you notated all damages on the delivery receipt (which you must due or there is no gaurantee a shipping claim will be honored), then you can file a claim with the trucking company. You can also contact us to obtain supporting documents, if required by the trucking company.
