 | The WRX/STi Turboback exhaust (named because it's everything from behind the turbo back) consists of a downpipe (blue) and catback exhaust (red). You can open the catback exhaust segment of Exhaust 101 for a more detailed description of what it entials. A turboback is a surefire way to guarantee compatibility, fitment, and performance since it is the complete post-turbo exhaust and it is typically from one manufacturer.
NOTES:
1. You can construct a turboback by coupling a catback exhaust and downpipe (i.e. Invidia downpipe + Invidia catback = Invidia turboback; same with HKS, etc.)
2. Turbo XS turbobacks feature an optional catylitic converter that can be swapped out with a test-pipe and multiple muffler options, making them a good option.
