Takata harnesses and safety equipment are the preferred brand of racers around the globe. Takata harnesses meet FIA safety standards 8853/98 and 8854/98. Utilizing the cam-lock center buckle, Takata harnesses are simple to use, exceptionally safe, and comfortable for long-term use. Takata Harnesses are legal for racing series that follow the General Competition Rules (i.e. SCCA) (see GCR 9.3.18.H for more information).
PLEASE NOTE:These are NOT for street use. All safety equipment installation should be performed by experienced professionals, improper installation of a racing harness can result in injury or death. To properly install a harness in your vehicle, a harness bar or roll cage may be required -- and in most cases the factory seatbelt must be left installed in the vehicle.
