First, a little info on the company that claims "Boost is our Business!" Hallman Boost Controllers has been in business since 1995, offering the first closed loop manual boost controller at an affordable price. Turbo Magazine describes them saying, "The Marc Hallman Boost Controller is one of the best manual boost controllers available on the market."
Hallman Boost Controllers are machined and constructed of high quality materials; 316 stainless steel and brass materials for all valves and internals. This insures a long life of the product and repeatable performance. In 2002, Hallman incorporated a slightly lighter spring to help make the adjustment less sensitive and had all their valve bodies hard chrome plated for a nice appearance and durable finish. July of 2002 brought Hallman's patented Evolution system, which allows for in-cabin boost control. In 2003 Hallman released the Pro Series boost controllers. The new controllers are machined out of billet aluminum and stainless steel.
The point is that Hallman makes some of the best manual boost controllers on the market, at an excellent price. The products are constantly being improved and updating; evolving to keep up with modern turbo systems and wastegate designs. Look under hood of some of the biggest names in racing, and you will most certainly find a Hallman. |
