Justin's tC: Goodridge Brake Lines
|
| People who own the tC always claim that [whiner]"the brakes suck"[/whiner]. This isn't true. Braking distance for the tC is darn respectable--on par with the Civic Si even. What people really mean is "the brake pedal is spongy." For less than $90 you can cure this ailment. The Goodrige lines improve pedal resistance considerably. This improvement is because the stainless steel lines do not flex like the OEM rubber hoses and this allows more energy to transfer from thh pedal to the calipers. Install is relatively easy (if you are not comforatable bleeding your braking system have a professional do the work) with the hardest part being the removal of the old lines. If you do change your lines I strongly suggest filling the brake reservior with Motul RBF 600.
