Seibon's clear coats are shiny and durable, and they give you the nice " wet" look as opposed to a duller look from gel coats. All Seibon carbon sheets are built into the mold, so they do not break and split like the ones where carbon is only wrapped around the skeleton. The carbon fiber material is just a piece of cloth. You can't make any shape out of it without some kind of support. Seibon uses fiberglass backing to construct the skeleton, so be cause of this, Seibon carbon fiber hoods are not 100% carbon fiber; they are a carbon-fiber wrapped fiberglass shell. |
| Seibon offers a 6-month limited warranty on the clear coat and they guarantee fitment for all US-model vehicles, unless they specifically indicate otherwise. Seibon test fits all parts before they make them available for sale. It is important to note that no after-market body part will fit exactly like an OEM piece. It is normal and you are expected to have to perform minor adjustments for a good fit. All Seibon carbon fiber parts are examined and double-packed before shipping. However, due to the sizes of most items, handling can be awkward, and sometimes trucking staff do not handle items carefully. We must count on the consignee to examine the product's condition upon receipt. If you notated all damages on the delivery receipt (which you must do or there is no guarantee a shipping claim will be honored), then you can file a claim with the trucking company. You can also contact us to obtain supporting documents, if required by the trucking company. INSPECT YOUR HOOD UPON DELIVERY, DO NOT LET THE TRUCK DRIVER LEAVE. IF IT IS DAMAGED, REFUSE IT OR NOTE THE DAMAGE ON THE AIRBILL.
