NOTES ON INSTALLING A BLOW-OFF VALVE ON AN SRT-4: Your factory BOV is mounted directly on the turbo housing and is controlled by one of the solenoids mounted on the factory air box. In order to install an after market BOV on an SRT-4, there are three requirements:
1.You will need a way to mount the valve (i.e. Perrin, ATP, or AGP pipe or Turbo XS adapter kit)
2. You will have to tee into the vacuum lines on the throttle body.
3. For optimal results, you should install a block off plate (BOP) for the stock valve and cap the pink vacuum line that goes to it. |
