| The Whiteline 27mm Front Swaybar for the 2003+ Mazda RX-8 is an excellent way to improve the handling on your daily driven or autocross RX-8. Whiteline's RX-8 swaybar is available as a fixed position or 3-way adjustable unit. If you are a "set it and forget it" kind of person the fixed position 27mm front swaybar is the one for you. However, if you are a racer or prefer to have more adjustability, then you should get the adjustable 27mm swaybar. The three settings on the adjustable allow you to vary the equivalent roll stiffness of your swaybar from 26mm up to 28mm. While the OEM swaybar on the Sport package RX-8 is also 27mm, the difference is in the material used: Whiteline uses a solid bar and the Mazda OE bar uses a .134" thick walled tube. While the solid bar adds some weight, the added rigidity more than makes up for that penalty. Whiteline's RX-8 swaybars come in "Silver Sparkle II" metallic powder coat color and include replacement polyurethane bushings, bushing grease and instructions. |
