Hawk HP+ RX8 Brake Pads: Hawk HP+ RX8 brake pads use a race compound designed to take the abuse of track driving and meet the demands of street driving as well. Designed for street cars that make it to the track once in a while (such as Autocrossers, Solo II, etc.) these pads have increased friction over the HPS, are a little noisier and dustier, but have a much tougher grip. For more frequent track use, or competition-only applications, consider the blue race compound pads. |

Axxis Ultimate: Axxis Ultimate brake pads are a Kevlar and Ceramic compound that offers Cooper owners far and away the best price to performance ratio currently available in a performance street pad. When installing this pad on your Mini, you must be sure to properly bed the Ultimates in; this procedure is critical to achieve the optimum performance from this pad. Once bedded correctly, you can expect greatly improved initial bite, higher operating temperature range, and minimal rotor wear. Axxis Ultimates are know to create a noticeable amount of dust, but are also a very quiet pad.
