7/9/04, INTAKE: I opted for a Perrin short-ram silicone in bling-bling red. The pictures below are in no particular order. The Perrin intake includes a nice little bracket that mounts the stock solenoids and holds the intake up. It was interesting to see how much oil was in the crankcase vent hose, I will eventually opt for a catch can, but the Perrin includes a nice little breather that can be installed down low in the engine bay to keep all that sludge out of the intake. FYI -- the random hole in the transmission is just big enough for the breather hose to go through, keeping the mounting clean. It is unbelievable how much stronger the car feels after this install, and it's great how well you can hear the turbo spooling and the stock blow off valve. This is a great intake and a straight-forward install, trust me, this one will make your car an absolute blast to drive.
