| The 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX is a great car. In stock form the 2.0 liter horizontally opposed 4 cylinder turbo engine produces 227 horsepower and has a 7,000 rpm redline. It comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission with symmetrical all wheel drive. The Subaru gear box is unique in that it houses the forward & reverse gears, front diff, and center diff. The gears, front, and center diff all share the same gear oil. The rear diff is a limited slip unit while the front is open. |
