Tein Basic Coilovers:
Tein's Basic coilovers for the Toyota Supra MKIV are an entry-level setup that features ride-height adjustment but does not offer adjustable shock damping. Basic setups are valved for street use and are essentially an affordable, balanced solution to purchasing shocks and springs or sleeve-type coilovers. They feature a steel twin-tube design, with adjustable spring perches and utilize the OEM suspension mounts. Because the Tein Basic coilovers are a complete setup, they offer increased stroke over a stock-type setup or spring and shock package, which increases shock life and prevents the 'bottoming out' traditionally associated with lowering springs. This kit is rebuildable, making it a long-term solution.

Tein Super Street Coilovers:
Tein Super Street (SS) Coilovers offer the same ride-height adjustability of the Basic coilovers but also feature 16-setting damping force adjustment for increased tuneability. Designed for street use, Tein SS coilovers can be stiffened or softened and raised or lowered to meet your day-to-day demands. SS coilovers are designed specifically for the US market, so fitment and quality is excellent. The kit features twin-tube shocks, standardized straight springs, and steel construction for durability and quality. The kits can also be rebuilt and revalved by Tein, making them a long-term suspension solution. The SS coilovers utilize the OEM upper mounts for simple installation. They are also available with pillowball upper mounts for increased performance.

Tein Flex Coilovers:
Flex coilovers are designed to provide the ultimate balance between comfort and performance. They are a completely different coilover from the Basic/SS/SS-P line, utilizing a fully threaded shock body that is adjustable both at the spring perch and lower shock body for independent height and spring preload adjustments. The twin-tube damper design makes for improved reliability and longevity. These are Tein's street/competition coilovers; they can be tuned for street use but will also be comfortable on the racetrack or autocross course. Tein Flex coilovers include upper mounts, and are compatible with the electronic damping force computer (EDFC). They are also fully rebuildable, making them a long-term solution.

Tein Mono Flex Coilovers:
Tein Mono Flex dampers take the Flex sytem to an even higher performance and adjustability level. This newly designed and developed sytem is built for those core drivers seeking the ultimate in street and track performance. The use of separate chambers for the hydraulic fluid and nitrogen gas, ensures minimal aeration and provides quick dissipation of heat for more consistant handling. Mono FLEX was tested with high grip tires and/ or larger diameter wheels in mind, and are recommended to bring out the full potential of this aggressive suspension system. The MONO FLEX Damper kit includes pillow ball upper mounts and is compatible with the Tein EDFC system.

Tein EDFC:
The Tein EDFC works with the Supra MKIV Flex coilovers to allow for in-cabin adjustment of the shock absorber stiffness. By installing electric motors on the strut tops, ride quality can literally be adjusted at the push of a button. In addition, you can set 3 presets for different types of driving (i.e. city, hi-way, and track); adding to the versatility of the Tein SS coilovers. The EDFC can control the 16 different stiffness settings and can also be put into 32 setting mode which adjusts in half-step increments for the purists and control freaks.
