There are a variety of flywheel styles and weights available for the 93-98 Supra 2JZGTE. You may want to consider the ACT Streetlite steel flywheel for daily driven and street cars, as it is lighter, but not so light as be awkward to drive on a daily basis. Fidanza Aluminum Flywheels are made from 6061 T6 billet aluminum for superior strength and weight reduction. Fidanza flywheels are CNC machined at a constant speed for precise fit and finish, and feature a replaceable 1045 high-carbon steel friction plate with AN military-grade fasteners and a hardened 1050 ring gear. |
| You will never have to replace this flywheel as you can just swap friction plates, and reinstall. All these features make these a great lightweight flywheel at a great price. The 93-98 Turbo Supra Fidanza Flywheel is SFI Certified and weighs only 14.5lbs. |

| The ACT Prolite flywheel is made using the same premium quality, forged Chrome-Moly steel unit, that is CNC machined, and balanced. The Prolite flywheel has more material removed from the outer rim than the Streetlite to get it down to it's super-light, CEL causing 13 lbs. ACT's Prolite flyweel will cause a check engine light. If you are planning to drive your car on the street, in traffic, you do not want this light of a flywheel. The Prolite is a RACE ONLY flywheel. The Prolite also features an induction-hardened integral ring gear, and is durable and thick enough to be resurfaced. Certified to SFI Specification 1.1. |
