Drilled rotors also lose considerable surface area compared to slotted rotors, which means a smaller surface area for pad-to-rotor contact. Stop Tech Power Slot rotors are designed using the highest quality OEM replacement blanks. Stop Tech Power Slot Cryo: Improve the performance and extend the life of your Stop Tech Power Slot rotors with the Cryo treatment option. This one-time cryogenic treatment is a computer controlled process where the metal is triple heat cycled to -300 degrees Fahrenheit and then slowly returned to room temperature. Although not apparent to the naked eye, the improvements to the rotor are significant. The cryogenic treatment process redistributes residual stress in the rotor giving it an extra level of protection against warping. Stop Tech Power Slot Cryo treatment is only available if you are purchasing a new set of rotors.
