| This is a complete kit for the MK3 Supra Turbo. The OEM plastic Bosch blow off valve is ill-equipped to handle higher boost numbers, replacing it with an aftermarket unit such as the HKS SSQV will help prevent damage to your turbo, and prevent boost leaks. HKS SSQV blow off valves are easily adjustable to prevent both premature boost leaks and compressor surge. The HKS blow off valve's pull-type design ensures the elimination of boost leaks and premature opening. 'Pull-type' means that the HKS SSQV blow off valve is pulled open by boost; not pushed open like the competition. As a result, it is resistant to leaking, making it a great BOV for higher-horsepower cars. The downside to this valve is that it doesn't recirculate, which can cause a rich condition in between shifts. When triggered, this BOV emits a quick rush of air that is signature HKS sound. This kit also includes a piping section to replace some of your 17-year old factory plumbing. This may be the only picture of this product on the web. |
- NOTES
- The HKS SSQV bov for the MK3 Supra comes with the triple-fin vent to atmosphere attachment as well as the recirculation fitment. Running this valve in recirculation mode requires additional hardware to plumb the valve back into the stock recirculation vacuum line.
- A MK3 Supra specific mounting flange is already included with this kit, you DO NOT need to purchase one separately.
