Capable of up to 300whp at 20psi, the GT28RS is considered by many enthusiasts as the perfect turbo for the 1.6 R56 powerplant, providing incredible power output and boost response. Drivability of the GT28 will be comfortable on the street as well as out on the Auto-X course, with only a 500rpm lag over the stock R56 turbocharger. ATP has developed this kit as a true bolt-on installation, adapting to the stock exhaust manifold and including a custom v-band 3" racing downpipe that will adapt to any catback exhaust system on the market. | | This kit is also specifically designed to work with the stock intercooler and intake system, so you will avoid costly add-on modifications that can be required with universal turbo kits. All hardware, oil lines and clamps, couplers and fittings are also included for a clean installation. ECU tuning and other supporting modifications are required to achieve quoted power numbers.
