A supercharger pulley is a great way to turn up the boost and, in doing so, increase the power output of your Mini Cooper S. Alta's 15%, 17%, and 19% reduction supercharger pulleys will raise boost 3-4 lbs (this will vary from car to car depending on modifications, etc.), thus pushing more air and yielding more power. This rise in boost pressure will increase horsepower, and additional supporting modifications will significantly boost performance futher.

Design:
The Alta V2 Supercharger Reduction Pulleys are a two piece design with many new features. A stainless steel hub takes on most of the strain bolting up to the supercharger, allowing for a light weight aluminum pulley body. The Alta V2 Pulley is half the weight of the original model, helping decrease rotating mass resulting in even more power. An improved rib design insures your belt won't slip, or fall off the pulley under high boost while drilled ribs help keep the pulley cool.

 | Installation
Lift the engine, remove stock pulley with a puller and slide your new Alta Performance pulley directly onto the supercharger shaft. With Alta's pulley, you do not need to remove entire supercharger and press-on a pulley; a procedure that risks damage to the supercharger and often makes for extensive installation times and costs. |
 | Alta Pulley Removal Tool:
You should never remove a supercharger pulley without the proper tools. The Alta V2 Supercharger Pulley Removal Tool clamps around the entire belt surface of the supercharger pulley, ensuring that no damage will occur to the factory pulley or supercharger.
The puller is made of machined billet aluminum; its wrap-around design grabs the pulley evenly on all sides allowing the user to hold the pulley in place while extracting it from the supercharger.
Notes: A three prong puller is required in conjunction with the pulley removal tool.
