Tein's 05-08 Legacy GT Basic coilovers are an entry-level setup that features ride-height adjustment but does not offer adjustable shock damping. The Legacy GT Basic setup is valved for street use and is essentially an affordable, balanced alternative to purchasing shocks and springs or sleeve-type coilovers. The Tein Subaru Legacy GT Basic coilovers feature a steel twin-tube design, with adjustable spring perches for ride height and corner balance adjustments while utilizing the OEM Legacy GT suspension mounts. |
| Because the Tein Legacy GT Basic coilovers are a complete setup, they offer increased stroke over a stock-type setup or spring and shock packages, which increases shock life and prevents the 'bottoming out' traditionally associated with lowering springs. The Tein Legacy GT Basic coilover kit is rebuildable, making it a long-term solution. |

The Comfort Sports are made with a fully threaded shock body to allow for full-length adjustments in 1mm increments. 16 way adjustment puts you in control of dampening force. The Comfort Sports include a specially designed reinforced rubber mount for excellent handling and a quiet ride. |

Tein Flex coilovers for the 05-08 Subaru Legacy GT are designed to provide the ultimate balance between comfort and performance. The Tein LGT Flex are a completely different coilover from the Basic system, utilizing a fully threaded shock body that is adjustable both at the spring perch and lower shock body for independent height and spring preload adjustments. The Tein LGT Flex coilovers' twin-tube damper design makes for improved reliability and longevity. The Flex are street/competition LGT coilovers; they are comfortable on the street use but are also be tuned for track and autocross use. |
| Tein Legacy GT Flex coilovers include upper mounts, and are compatible with the electronic damping force computer (EDFC). They are also fully rebuildable, and can be revalved and resprung to different rates making them a versatile, long-term solution for your autocrossed and track-driven LGT. |

The Tein EDFC works with the Legacy GT Flex coilovers to allow for in-cabin adjustment of the shock absorber stiffness. By installing electric motors on the strut tops, ride quality can literally be adjusted at the push of a button. In addition, you have three presets for different types of driving (i.e. city, hi-way, and track); adding to the versatility of the Tein LGT Flex coilovers. The Tein EDFC can control the 16 different stiffness settings and can also be put into 32 setting mode which adjusts in half-step increments for the purists and control freaks. The compact (approximately 3.5" wide x 1" tall x 4" deep) control box is easy to mount, making it a great add-on. |
