Eagle's Subaru connecting rods are made from 4340 steel, x-rayed, magnafluxed, sonic tested, and shot-peened to ensure optimal quality and strength. They are packaged in weight-matched sets that are within +/- 1 gram end to end. The Eagle connecting rods for the Legacy GT undergo a 2-piece forging process in China and are then shipped to the US for final machining and testing; making for a cheaper rod that is durable and precise. These rods include ARP 3/8" 2000 rod bolts for extensive ability to handle power and boost. 5.137" rod length.

The bores are round with no taper and these rods use APR 2000 cap screws for ultimate strength. |

Pro-Super A beam rods for the LGT ship with standard 3/8th inch WMC cap bolts and are rated to 800whp, they are great for cars that see both street and race driving. |

Considering the best overall performance of the part, combined with the least amount of weight, the H-beam is Carrillo's strongest, most durable design available. Carrillo H-beam rods are recommended for race applications where no compromise in performance is possible. Pro-H rods for the LGT available with 3/8th inch cap bolts in either standard WMC or Carrillo specific design which can be retorqued as many times as you want and will not need to be replaced. These rods are for 1000+whp race only machines and are not optimal for street use. |
