The Brian Crower stroker kits for the EJ25 equipped 2005-2008 Legacy GT are all-in-one displacement creation kits. Take your 2.5L EJ255 up to 2.61L by increasing the stroke to 83mm (up from 79mm) with Brian Crower's custom, steel billet crankshaft and bumping the bore up .5mm, to 100mm. You can increase bore up to 102mm in each cylinder to get a full 2.71L (when used in conjunction with Darton sleeves) from your 2005-2008 LGT's engine. The enlarged cylinders are filled with Brian Crower custom CP pistons that can be built to your spec, or you can use the off-the-shelf 8.5:1 compression ratio units. |
| Also included in the Brian Crower stroker kits, along with the custom CP pistons, are high quality, steel alloy wrist pins, and a full ring pack and buttons. Brian Crower offers you a choice of Economy or Pro premium steel billet connecting rods in the 05-08 LGT EJ255 stroker kit. Brian Crower's Econo EJ25 rods are rated up to 600 maximum horsepower, while Pro Series EJ25 rods rated to 800+ horsepower. |

NOTES:
- This is not a do-it-yourself project; it will require removal and reinstallation of the engine and all of its major components including, but not limited to: Timing belt, oil pump, exhaust, and transmission. In addition, the block must be machined, cleaned, and bored to fit the new components. Expect to spend around $1500 on machine shop labor, plus whatever the installation and removal expenses may be.
- Additional parts will need to be purchased that include, but are not limited to: Fuel pump, larger injectors, and some sort of engine management.
