ARP Head Studs for the EJ255 powered 2005-2008 Subaru Legacy GT are a must if you plan on increasing boost. ARP head studs are made from 8740 alloy bar stock that is cut to length, then precisely heat-treated to strengthen the material to 190,000 psi tensile strength. Following the heat-treating, each stud is centerless ground to make it as close to perfectly straight as possible. After the studs are ceneterless ground, ARP's 05-08 LGT EJ255 head studs have threads cut through a thread rolling procedure for perfect pitch and depth. |
