| The addition of a short shifter or short shift adaptor is a great first modification for your Legacy GT. Contrary to popular belief, upgrading to a performance short shifter is a bit more precise and mathematical than going to town with a hacksaw. A short shifter reduces the distance the shift lever moves between each gear by modifying the pivot point of the lever. This results in precise, crisp gear changes and less time in neutral for faster acceleration. A short shifter kit coupled with shifter bushings will improve your shifter performance considerably, and is a great modification for any LGT. |

Perrin Shifter Adapter: |
The Perrin short shift adapter allows you to convert your existing stock LGT shift lever and mechanism into an adjustable short throw unit. The throw can be adjusted from stock to a variety of custom shift throw lengths. By retaining the stock lever, the comfortable feel of an OEM shifter is retained.
NOTE: This part does not fit LGTs equipped with the factory short throw shifter. Please check before you order.

Cobb Double Adjustable Short Shifter: |
The Cobb double adjustable short shifter delivers customizable shift knob height and throw potential. The unit is compatible with the factory shift knob as well as any aftermarket knobs that are modeled after stock. Steel socket head screws are set in a counter bore for a flush mount and provide a clamping force that firmly holds the upper and lower slider shafts in place. This new design improves the ease of making adjustments while also being significantly stronger.
