The Cusco 2003-2006 Lancer Evolution 8 & IX front and rear sway bars provide excellent control of body roll. The smaller diameter (21mm front & 18mm rear) are well suited to daily/street driving while the larger bars (25mm front & 23mm rear) are better for track and autocrossed 03-06 Evo 8 & IXs. The larger front bar will cause more understeer and a large rear bar will induce the back end to get loose (or oversteer). Generally understeer is easier to control from the driver's seat, but a skilled driver can be very fast with a tail-happy car on a race course. |
