When swapping injectors on your Evo 8 or 9, it is important to increase the center bore of the fuel rail to support the additional capacity of the injectors (i.e. a bigger injector has the capability to move more volume, therefore draining the rail more rapidly). The Perrin fuel rail accomodates larger injectors, while also offering a 1/8 NPT port which can be used for a variety of purposes, such as an external regulator, gauge sender, or additional fuel line. |
 | Installation is fast and straightforward; the rail uses a stock type connector for a true plug-and-play affair. The stock fuel rail has a .192" bore, whereas the Perrin rail has a .632" bore -- increasing the internal volume by 25% and preventing any fuel starvation issues associated with big injectors.
