| Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Carbon-Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust system for the 2003-2006 Lancer Evolution 8 & IX to produce looks and performance. HKS has incorporated their race inspired, offset muffler and piping design into the Evo 8/IX Carbon-Ti Hi-Po, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. The Evolution High-Power HKS exhaust's large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. The Evo 8 & IX Hi-Power exhaust system is made from 75mm diameter SUS304 stainless steel piping, stainless steel muffler and 120mm tip assemblies. The Carbon-Titanium series of HKS High-Power exhausts consists of a carbon fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping. |
