Perrin 03-06 Evo 8 & 9 downpipe is formed from tig-welded, mandrel bent 3 inch, 304 stainless steel tubing. Reaching from the turbo manifold outlet to the catalytic converter this downpipe is designed to work with a stock catalyst or Perrin's cat-delete pipe (sold separately).

To maintain a proper gasket seal, Perrin's downpipe is made with 1/2 inch thick stainless steel flanges and reuses a stock-style donut gasket. The use of a donut gasket also allows for proper movement of the exhaust system under acceleration and deceleration, thus avoiding stressing the turbo and manifold.
