Invidia's 3 inch stainless steel downpipe for the 03-06 Evo 8 & 9 is designed to bolt up to the stock catalytic converter. The 3 inch design allows for excellent flow, while maintaining a proper gasket seal with the stock donut gasket ensuring proper clearance and the ability to move under engine load. The Invidia downpipe with mate to most cat-delete pipes if you decide to optimize your flow. Invidia's downpipe, like most 3 inch downpipes, requires that you either shim the OEM suspension brace or use an aftermarket lower brace.
