2004 Atlantic City SEMA IAS
This is by far the smallest of the SEMA shows, but there were still some good sights. It was a good opportunity to check out some of the up and coming products from several manufacturers, and a good excuse to play stoplight tag with some nicely equipped vehicles. We saw several Evo 8s, RSXs, WRXes, 350zs, and others on the way down, and Atlantic City is a great place to cruise, especially in a modded STi.
Left to right: AEM/DC Sports brought their beautiful 350z headers and also showed off their SRT-4 exhaust and other products, lastly is Nukabe's STi, which sported a Cusco roll cage.
Left to right:This white Evo was sporting several mods, including an HKS turbo and silicone hoses, and a GT Spec strut bar. In the middle is the GT Spec WRX, which sports their carbon fiber hood and several other goodies, including a hyperflow front mount. Farthest on the left was a gorgeous '94 Supra w/ a Do-Luck bodykit and custom flamed paintjob running stock turbos with several performance mods.
Left to right: Manufacturers are always bringing Skylines around to tease us. This one is from RB Motoring, and is a gorgeous example of what Japan won't give us. Swift Racing brought a turbo IS300 that was making something like 400+ hp at the wheels, using a Supra block and their setup. Lastly was something we will probably never see again; a TRD supercharged Celica -- there are rumors and this is proof -- the TRD supercharger does exist, and was a gorgeous install except for the massive hump in the hood.
Left to right: Ever seen a turbo RX8? We did, this setup was amazing but there was no mention of power output, which must be ridiculous. Hopefully we'll see more forced induction for the RX-8 in the future. Next was a Veilside Evo 8, with a pepsi logo on the hood, enough said. Lastly was a Chargespeed version 2 bodykit that dwarfed a Perrin front mount intercooler on an 04 WRX, unless you like cutting we wouldn't reccomend this setup.
