Cometic Headgaskets for 2000-2005 Toyota Celica

Cometic 7MGTE Headgaskets from JSC Speed

Cometic uses stainless steel in their headgaskets for increased strength, it's ability to rebound, and improved corrosion resistance. The outer layers of a Cometic headgasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a veriety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Cometic's Viton headgasket coating is heat resistant to 250 degrees celcius or 482 degrees farenheit. By design the Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Cometic headgasket promotes an even torque across the sealing surface allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion. Please work together with your machine shop to best identify the gasket that will work best for you.
