Turbo XS Universal Blow off Valves and Adapter Kits

These blow off valves require adapter kits for vehicle-specific installation, which are sold separately at the bottom of this page. They can be used as universal valves for weld-on applications as well.
The BOV Type H provides greater venting flow than the Type S and is designed for turbocharged engines running 10 to 25 psi boost. Each valve is individually tested to hold 30 lbs. of boost. The valve vents to atmosphere at sound pressure levels in excess of 110 db making it one of the loudest on the market. This valve requires a vehicle specific mounting flange, sold separately.

A new larger billet aluminum body and a beefier piston ensure the valve remains smooth under the most demanding circumstances. This valve relieves compressor pressure surge caused by changing gears or backing off the throttle quickly and is designed for turbocharged engines running up to 25 psi boost. The TurboXS Type H Hybrid Blow off valve is ideal for Mass Air Flow (MAF) metered cars that want some noise but don't want the problems associated with venting to atmosphere. The Hybrid Type H is CNC machined out of billet aluminum and is specifically designed with high boost applications in mind. This BOV mostly recirculates until high boost pressure where it is vented to atmosphere as well. This help to reduce altering the MAF readings. This valve requires a vehicle specific mounting flange, sold separately below.

The H Reversible is identical in design to the TXS RBV-H34 with the exception that the outlet of the valve is a standard Type H female inlet instead of a 34mm hose adapter. This allows the valve to be used either in normal fashion or "reversed". Using the valve in the reversed orientation ensures that the valve will only open up under vacuum. This is perfect for your drag racing car running 35+ psi. This valve requires a vehicle specific mounting flange, sold separately below.

The BOV Type S is recommended for small to medium sized turbo charged engines running up to 15 psi boost. Each valve is individually tested to hold 30 lbs. of boost.

The Racing Bypass Valve Type 25 was specifically designed to replace the 1 inch (25mm) Bosch Bypass Valve used in most Volkswagen and Audi applications. The Bosch valve is prone to failure in stock application and not adequate for holding boost in "chipped" 1.8T equipped vehicles. The RBV-25 spring tension is adjustable, making it ideal for your modified vehicle. This valve is not loud compared to an atmospheric BOV.

Gone are the days of buying a Turbo XS BOV and Turbo XS BOV adaptor plate. The Turbo XS RBV for the 02-07 WRX & 04-010 STI Blow off valve is one piece and comes with a new BOV gasket, so the base can never leak again. The design has also been altered to make this BOV connect directly to the WRX or STI's stock recirculation fitting allowing you to get the performance from this BOV without being forced to vent to atmosphere, which can cause backfiring on MAP based cars like the WRX & STI. All in all this Turbo XS RBV BOV kit for the WRX and STI is the best we have seen from Turbo XS as far as Blow off valves is concerned and it may be the best BOV on the market today for your WRX or STI.
