08-10 Subaru WRX Lightweight Flywheels

A lighter flywheel drastically reduces the rotating mass attached to your crankshaft, allowing your car to rev and accelerate faster. On a turbocharged car like 08-10 WRX, faster revs mean a quicker turbo spool to get you into that 'sweet spot' faster.
The ACT Streetlite flywheel is made from premium quality, forged chrome moly steel, CNC machined, and balanced. The ACT Streetlite also features an induction-hardened integral ring gear and is durable enough and thick enough to be resurfaced. Certified to SFI Specification 1.1. The ACT Prolite flywheel is made using premium quality, forged chrome-moly steel that is then CNC machined then balanced. The ACT Prolite flywheel has more material removed from the outer rim than the Streetlite to get it down to it's super-light, CEL causing 9.6lbs. If you are planning to daily drive your WRX on the street, in traffic, you do not want this light of a flywheel. The Prolite is a RACE ONLY flywheel. The Prolite also features an induction-hardened integral ring gear, and is durable and thick enough to be resurfaced. Certified to SFI Specification 1.1.
