05-06 Scion tC K&N Short Ram

The K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake for the 2005-2006 Scion tC is a sure way to improve the performance of the 2AZ-FE powerplant. K&N's dyno shows a 7 whp gain at 5000rpm using their air box, highflow flat filter, and plumbing. The 05-06 tC intake from K&N is only available in black. This intake is C.A.R.B exempt and has the look of a stock airbox while still providing noticable power gains.

K&N uses a high flow conical air filter for their 07-10 Scion tC Typhoon Short Ram Intake. The K&N high flow filter is designed to provide increased surface area and dust catching capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard OEM replacement filter. The oversize air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). The 07-10 tC gained 8 whp at 5400 rpm on K&N's dyno! K&N only makes the 07-10 tC intake in a powder coated silver finish.
