2006-2014 Mazda MX-5
It's hard to improve on the best selling convertible of all time, but Mazda started from scratch with a new roadster recipe and injected their sports car spirit into the NC Miata. Following in the tradition of the stout motors of the previous generations, the new motors for the NC make more power with great low end torque while keeping the smooth renowned shifting feel. The suspension has changed from a 4-wheel double wishbone setup to a front wishbone/rear multilink setup and the acclaimed handling is still there. Technologies like traction control and stability control were added to increase driveability without hurting that nimble feeling. Mazda introduced a "convertible coupe" version in 2006 to make the hard top hassle a thing of the past. The racing history lives on as the with the NC as it sees its fair share of track time be it all out Spec Miata racing to Skip Barber's Racing School. The Miata is a capable platform and we at JSC are dedicated to helping you maximizing the performance and driving feel of your roadster.
