The second generation DA Integra further helped to bolster the Acura image of high end vehicles for the masses. While the NSX pioneered VTEC in the US market, the Integra GS-R model put that performance into the hands of the masses. The DA is a docile car offering fun in higher RPM's when desired, combined with daily driveability and sportiness. Even today it is still a prominent street car and is often found in racing series.
