From the factory, the Ford Power Stroke on board computer is calibrated with the average driver in mind, not the performance enthusiast. This not only robs you of valuable horsepower and torque, but it also makes for a pretty boring driving experience. The SF3 and X3 vehicle programmers from SCT Performance unlock your vehicle's true performance potential by re-calibrating your computer for more power, enhanced throttle response, firmer shifts and even increased fuel mileage. With the SF3 or X3 system, you connect directly to your ECU with the handheld flash unit, no tools required! The SF3 programmer includes the SCT tuned performance Power Stroke base maps, yielding power gains of up to 110WHP and 200FT/LBS for the 7.3L and 150WHP and 246FT/LBS for the 6.0L. If your car requires a custom tune, go with the X3 system as it does not include any base maps and is designed to be custom tuned out of the box. Both the SF3 and X3 programmers have the ability to hold up to 3 custom tunes, so you can switch maps at any time.
