03-05 Neon SRT-4 AGP 50 Trim Turbos Kits

The point of AGP's upgraded turbos is that they flow more air. However, due to the size, take longer to spool. By matching the correct wheels and housings, you can minimize lag, and still make good power. The AGP 50 Trim turbos offer a great compromise: They deliver an excellent bump in power without taking forever to spool.

The 50 Trim is the best matched turbo for the 03-05 Neon SRT-4's 2.4L motor for street/strip purposes. AGP's 50 Trim SRT-4 turbo kit spools fast, and makes great power. The 50 Trim turbo is perfect for those wanting to make decent power on pump gas and go to the track once in a while and run some 11's. Full boost should be right around 3200-3400rpms with a .63 A/R turbine housing, slightly lower with the .48 A/R or higher with the .82 A/R. AGP's test cars have pulled over 420whp on pump gas at 23psi. The maximum boost is around 30psi where AGP has seen 500whp. The AGP Standard 50 Trim turbo is not a ball-bearing turbo.

The AGP Ball Bearing 50 Trim Turbo Kit has the same power capacity but will spool faster than the same A/R Standard 50 Trim (listed above). Ceramic ball bearings create less friction for faster spool and better response. The ball bearing option costs $500 more, but is a much better SRT-4 street turbo without any downsides. The AGP Ball Bearing 50 Trim Turbo is oil and water cooled and includes water lines.
