HKS high performance camshafts for 2003-2006 Nissan 350Zs and 2003-2007 Infiniti G35s with the VQ35DE powerplant are CAD designed to optimize torque and horsepower over the widest possible power band. HKS 264°/264° VQ35DE cams offer excellent lift profiles (10.5mm intake & 10.2mm exhaust) to provide substantial gains in power and a broad, useable power band with little compromise in drivability. The cams have a short duration for nice street manners and slight lope at idle. These are an excellent all purpose cam shaft. |
| Unlike other cam manufacturers, HKS camshafts are not reground OEM VQ35DE units; they are machined from new billet cores, which are constructed from a high nickel content iron alloy. By manufacturing the 350Z/G35 camshafts from billet cores, HKS is able to produce camshafts that equal or exceed the quality of the OEM units they are designed to replace. HKS camshafts are direct replacements and are designed to be compatible with the factory valve train components, however, JSC Speed recommends high performance valve springs just to be safe. |
