The Cobb Tuning Accessport is a multi-featured ECU reprogramming device for your Infiniti G37. The Accessport comes loaded with multiple maps for various setups (i.e. stock, modified vehicle, different fuel octane levels, etc.). Additional maps will be available for downloading off the Cobb Tuning website. If your tuning needs stray from Cobb's path, you can take your car to a Cobb certified 'Pro-Tuner' and they can dyno tune your car and put a custom map on your Accessport for maximum gains (call JSC Speed for information about a Cobb PRO Tuner near you). Your G37 can easily be returned to stock at any time, as the Accessport retains your stock base map.
In addition, the Cobb Tuning Accesport functions as a scan tool, diagnosing and clearing check engine lights (CELs) and other vehicle parameters. The Access port color display allows the user to display a variety of parameters including dynamometer testing and real time data. Best of all, the Cobb Accessport installs via the under-dash diagnostic port, meaning you don't have to pick up a tool or even open your hood to install it. Installation takes about 10 minutes and your ready to go!

Cobb's Accessport Stage 1 map is designed for your showroom stock 2008 G37, meaning you can boost your power and prepare for future modifications by simply plugging in the Accessport! Cobb also offers a preloaded Stage 2 map that works with a catback exhaust with or without racepipes. JSC Speed recommends the Accessport as your first modification as each additional upgrade will be that much better if your car is tuned properly. The Cobb Accessport functions as a 'chip' for users working within the guidelines of the included maps, and with the optional 'Pro-Tune' you get many features of a full stand alone ECU while the Accessport retains the drivability and simplicity of a stock ECU.

REALTIME AND BASE MAPS:
A stock G37 ECU is limited to approximately 100 base program flashes. Typically, reflashing can only be done a certain amount of times before the ECU is rendered unusable. Cobb Tuning engineers figured out a way around this by using realtime maps. When you attach Cobb's Accessport to your G37's computer, you can load a base map as your ECU's standard program. Then you can load any real-time map you want at any time, on top of this map, without using the ECU's flash memory. This means that you can have a base map for daily driving, and real time fuel economy and race gas maps that you can switch to whenever you want without reducing your ECU's flash life.
