| Stop Tech Big Brake Kits for 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z |

Stop Tech 350Z Big Brake Kits give your vehicle that modified look and feel, and exceed stock performance in two areas. First, larger rotors increase heat capacity on your 350z, allowing Stop Tech big brake kits to perform to their full potential under heat levels that would cause your stock brakes to fade or even fail completely. Second, stiffer calipers and stainless steel lines reduce system compliance. The key, however, is to increase heat capacity and reduce compliance without upsetting the stock front to rear brake torque ratio. If the brake upgrade you select adds too much front torque (as many do), you reduce your ability to utilize the tractive capacity of all of the tires to the maximum practical extent (even on ABS equipped cars) and you therefore create performance sacrifices. In addition, too many pistons or pistons that are too large will make the brake pedal much more difficult to modulate, which limits a driver's control of brake input on the race track.

2003-2008 Nissan 350Z Big Brake Kit Components:
Front & Rear 2-Piece Floating Directional 355x32mm & 328x28mm Aero Rotors:
The patented AeroRotor features curved vanes with innovations on leading and trailing edges. The uniquely designed vanes inside the disc optimize airflow through the rotor. This improved directional design minimizes turbulence and flows more air than any rotor tested. The result is up to 80% better airflow over original equipment rotors and 10-30% better airflow than directional vaned racing rotors currently available.
ST-60 (six piston)/ST-40 (four piston) Front Calipers
ST-45 (four piston)/ST-22(two piston) Rear Calipers
Using finite element analysis (FEA) modeling software, Stop Tech has designed a bolt-in bridge strong enough to stop distortion without sacrificing cooling through the top of the caliper. Distortion is virtually eliminated. The squeeze forged Stop Tech caliper has the least flex of any tested aftermarket and OE caliper. The air channel in the bridge is designed to help air flow through the retainer, resulting in better cooling for your Nissan 350z's Brake System.
Front & Rear Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Stop Tech makes their own stainless steel 350z brake lines in Southern California. Stop Tech is a DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) registered supplier of Stainless Steel Brake Lines. Line material and fittings are all made from the highest quality parts available. Lines feature a clear abrasion-resistant cover for maximum protection against chaffing. Necessary quality control procedures are in place to ensure lines are the correct length, etc. Every fully assembled Stop Tech Stainless Steel Brake Line is tested to a pressure of 4,500 psi.
Caliper Mounting Brackets
Stop Tech's hats and brackets are made with a special type of billet aluminum that was designed for the Aerospace industry in the United States. The German TUV were so impressed with the durability of these parts during testing that they replicated the bracket and repeated the test with a stainless steel imitation of Stop Tech's part. The stainless steel version failed early. Hats and brackets are machined to ISO standards at Stop Tech's manufacturing facility in Torrance, California, using the latest CNC machines that feature active tooling.
Axxis Ultimate Street Performance Pads
The Axxis Ultimate performance street pad included with the front BBK kit is and excellent choice for the daily driven 350z. Ultimates are fine for the occasional autocross also, but if regular trips to autocross events or track days are in your 350z's future, be sure to select a more appropriate pad for those events. Brake pads are included with front brake kits only.
Rotor Options
Stop Tech big brake kits come standard with slotted rotors, however drilled rotors (as pictured above) or Zinc coated rotors can be included for an extra charge. If you are interested in non-standard rotor options, please call 1-800-JSCSPEED for pricing and lead times.
Caliper Color
Stop Tech big brake kits come standard with either red or black powder coat finish. Stop Tech recommend black calipers if you race your 350z as the lighter colors can fade over time when exposed extreme heat cycles. 1. These kits fit 2003-2008 350z but different years and trim models (track edition vs. non-track) require different kits. Choose your model and trim level accordingly when ordering.
2. Stop Tech rear big brake kits are recommended for race or off-road use only, as they will delete the factory emergency/parking brake.
